What To Know:

  • In 2019, IKEA launched a global campaign encouraging people to reappraise the night and value their sleeping life as much as their waking life, under their ‘Wonderful Everyday’ brand platform celebrating the real life, at-home moments that bring joy to our lives.

  • The furtniture retailer partnered with Dr. Guy Meadows, co-founder of The Sleep School to create The IKEA Sleep Hub, a digital and physical project designed to help people get a better night’s sleep and find the right products to help.

  • This is further supported in-store by a series of workshops, events and even staff training focused on the insight that sleep is a truly individual experience entirely unique to a person.

  • This campaign was partly informed by their 2012 ‘Giant Sleepover’ activation in the UK, where The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers joined 100 people to spend the night at IKEA; reading guests a bed time story as part of the evening’s entertainment designed to help educate people on how to get a great nights sleep.
